When you Give HOPE, you mean the world to people like, Susan, who just a year ago felt that her world was falling apart. Susan came to the shelter with little hope, and a life that experienced more tragedy than the average person. She had recently buried her adult child, the victim of an overdose. Susan worked hard but was never able to escape the tentacles of poverty. Today, Susan has a modest apartment, friends, and works at HOPE as a Peer Advocate. In this role, she helps new guests adjust to shelter life and provides them with encouragement to believe that life change is possible.

Together, we can Give HOPE to individuals working their way home with: 
    * Safe shelter to regroup from their personal crisis
    * Nutritious meals to feed body and soul
    * Seasonally appropriate clothing, so no one has to endure winter in duct taped boots with no socks
    * Professionally trained, trauma informed staff, who help guests connect with the resources to find home
    * Move out kits and furniture sources to turn a bare apartment into a home
    * Connection to primary healthcare, pharmacy, behavioral health services and to in-house medical triage clinics
    * Post housing support to ease with the transition to independent living
 
When you Give HOPE, the impact is GREATER than a place to sleep and meals:
    * You change lives when you believe in the worth of an individual who stays in the shelter
    * You change lives when you invest in a better future that begins at the shelter door.
    * You change lives with the gift of dignity that a guest finds when they move to a home of their own.

Financial
​Support

We make it easy for you to be a one-time or recurring donor by providing multiple payment options. Your donations make a difference and provide hope for someone in need.

Host a
Meal 

Meal Hosts help HOPE feed more than 75 shelter guests each night. 
Your volunteer team of 4+ plan, prepare, and serve dinner.  Your smiling faces and positive conversation make a huge impact. Larger teams may also get involved with other tasks in the shelter.

We have wish lists for both shelters and various seasons. You may want to buy from the list (you can ship directly to HOPE or send/drop off your donated items at the shelter.  The list is an example, any brand is helpful. 

Host a 3rd party Fundraiser! 
1) Organize an activity or event to raise awareness and funding for HOPE Shelters. 

2) Have HOPE add your event to our Fundraising Portal (the green button) with your own "landing page". 

3) Point donors to your event's landing page using a QR Code.

Professional Volunteers

Professional Volunteers are needed to do the jobs you know, Since we cannot afford to hire all the skills we need, we hope for volunteers who can fill the gap. 

We are actively seeking people who can help us in a variety of roles:
  • Administrative Assistants
  • Social Media Management
  • Volunteer Coordination
  • Writing Stories of HOPE
  • Professional Training for CPR, Trauma-informed Care, De-Escalation Techniques, etc.
  • Maintenance, General Repairs, Plumbing, Painting, etc.
  • Grant Writers, Grant Researchers, and Proofreaders
